Earthware offers a return-for-reuse zero waste takeout container program in Calgary, Airdrie, Canmore and Banff. Their mission is to tackle the millions of single-use container waste that ends up in our province's landfills, and their partnership with the Alberta Bottle Depot Association marks a global first in reusable systems. During this session, John will receive feedback from a panel of experts and the audience. There are moments when you are in flow. When you are present and can intuit the moving currents and what is called for. These moments are the heart of creating something new and meaningful. But they need space and presence. The new normal is too often an exhausted, frazzled, distracted, and isolated state. When our bodies, hearts & minds are depleted we cannot be of service to the world to the extent we want to be. This can be frustrating and disappointing. Mindfulness - when integrated into our daily life - creates more self-compassion and kindness. More humanness and connection. In this session Mike Rowlands will share insights into Junxion's Turning Point™ approach, which blends Agile methodologies, Appreciative Inquiry, stakeholder engagement and systems thinking in an integrated model that's been implemented by many SVI alumni in their ventures—and a long list of visionary, social purpose organizations.

Dr. Kevin wâsakâyâsiw Lewis is a nêhiyaw (Plains Cree) instructor, researcher, write and founder of kâniyâsihk Culture Camp, a year round eco-tourism company that promotes First Nations experiences. Their social venture funds Canada's only Cree Land Based Immersion School, kâ-nîyâsihk mîhkiwâpa Centre of Excellence.
