Jeff Loomis
Executive Director, Momentum
Jeff Loomis is the Executive Director of Momentum, a Calgary-based community economic development organization that works to reduce poverty by providing training, business development support, and financial empowerment programs. Since stepping into the role in 2008, Jeff has played a central role in expanding Momentum’s impact—helping individuals gain the tools they need to build sustainable livelihoods.
Jeff holds a BA in Economics and has completed executive education through Harvard Business School. Before joining Momentum, he worked with Vibrant Communities Calgary and the United Way. He lives in Calgary with his family, loves basketball, and is a vocal advocate for inclusive, community-driven economic development.
